WHY THE VACUUM STEP MATTERS
Skipping the vacuum step leaves moisture and air trapped in the line, which can affect cooling performance and shorten compressor life over time. It takes a few extra minutes — we don't skip it, even on standard installs.

Which HP Do You Need?
Room size is a starting point, not the full picture. Use this as a rough guide, then send us your room's photo or size on WhatsApp for a proper recommendation.
This chart assumes standard ceiling height and normal sun exposure. Add roughly half a size up for rooms that face direct afternoon sun, have high ceilings, or sit on the top floor under an uninsulated roof — send us a photo and we'll confirm. If you're replacing a unit that never cooled properly, HP is usually the reason — not the brand.
CHOOSING A UNIT
Inverter or Non-Inverter?
Inverter
Adjusts compressor speed to maintain temperature rather than switching fully on/off. Higher upfront unit cost, but noticeably lower electricity bills if the room is used more than a few hours a day. Installation labour price is the same as non-inverter — the difference is in the unit itself.
Non-Inverter
Lower unit price, simpler mechanism, fewer electronic parts to fail. Makes sense for rooms used occasionally — a guest room or storeroom, for example — where the electricity savings of an inverter wouldn't be used often enough to matter.

Renovation deposits
Some buildings require a refundable renovation deposit before contractors are allowed on site. This is set and returned by your management office, not by Cool Pro.

How much does aircond installation cost in KL and Selangor?

Can I buy the aircond myself and pay Cool Pro only for installation?

What happens if the piping route needs more than 6ft?

Do you handle new electrical points or DB work?
Connection to an existing power point is included. New power points or distribution board work fall under licensed electrical work and are quoted separately with the appropriate licensed contractor.
Can you remove my old unit and install a new one?
Yes — old unit removal and responsible disposal is available as an add-on, quoted alongside your installation.
Do you install ceiling cassette and commercial units?
Yes. Ceiling cassette, floor-standing, and commercial VRV/VRF systems are installed. These are quoted after a site check because scope and access vary widely between sites.
Do you install aircond brands you don't supply?
