Aircond Service FAQs
How often should I service my aircond in Malaysia?
Most homes in KL and Selangor need a basic aircond service every 3 months and a full chemical wash every 6 to 12 months. Units running daily or in dusty areas may need it more often.
What's the difference between basic cleaning, chemical wash, and overhaul?
Basic cleaning handles the filter and checks the unit runs well. Chemical wash goes deeper — removing mould and grime from inside the coil. Overhaul is a full disassembly of the unit for heavily neglected systems that need a complete internal restoration.
My aircond is leaking water. Is that serious?
It's usually a clogged drain pipe — a straightforward fix from RM119. But it can also mean a refrigerant issue or a frozen coil. Don't ignore it — water damage to walls costs more than the repair.
Will you top up gas even if there's no leak?
No. We check for a leak first. Refrigerant doesn't run low on its own — if a unit needs gas, there's almost always a leak, and topping it up without fixing that means paying for it again later.
What's included in the price shown here?
The listed price covers standard servicing for a wall-mounted unit in normal condition. Anything beyond — like part replacement, ladder access, or heavy buildup — is confirmed on-site before we start.
